About EMBION
EMBION is the Danish National Cryo-EM Facility, located at Aarhus University's iNANO institute with a co-hosting agreement at Copenhagen University. Established through a 30.8 million DKK grant in 2018, the facility was officially inaugurated in October 2020.
The facility offers high resolution data collection from a range of samples including protein molecules, macromolecular complexes, and cells.
International Access
International users can apply for access through the iNEXT Discovery program. The EMBION Portal enables remote data tracking and collaborative application submissions.
Location
The facility is located at Aarhus University's Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) in Aarhus, Denmark.
