Access Our Facilities

Learn how to apply for access to cryo-electron microscopy instrumentation through the cryoNET network

The cryoNET network connects world-class cryo-EM facilities across Denmark and Sweden. Access to instrumentation is managed by each facility individually, with support for both academic and industry researchers.

How to Apply

1

Choose a Facility

Review our member facilities to find the one that best suits your research needs. Consider location, available equipment, and specialized services.

2

Prepare Your Proposal

Prepare a brief description of your project, sample details, and the type of analysis you require. Include information about sample preparation status.

3

Submit Application

Apply directly through each facility's application system. Danish researchers apply to AU or KU; Swedish researchers apply through SciLifeLab.

4

Review & Scheduling

Applications are reviewed based on scientific merit and feasibility. Once approved, facility staff will schedule your instrument time.

Who Can Apply?

Academic Researchers

Researchers at universities and research institutions in Denmark, Sweden, and other Nordic countries.

Industry Partners

Companies conducting structural biology research. Contact facilities directly for industry access and pricing.

International Collaborators

Researchers from outside the Nordic region through collaboration with local research groups.
